| The Education Building houses 40-45 children and offers two programs. |
The first program is an ICCO- sponsored teacher and classroom which has children aged 4 - 6 who are being prepared to enter the local education system.
| Their handicaps are minimal enough that after passing the entrance test at age 7, they can be educated outside the orphanage. |
The second group of children includes those aged 10- 16 who go off campus to a local school. In the afternoon they return to the education building where they have a place to do their homework.
| The orphanage also provides training in daily living skills, such as washing their clothes and money management. |
| To help these children compete with their peers in the classroom, ICCO finances tutors and the workbooks needed for their studies. Expansion of the education program involves increased tutor training and support. |
